Understand normal pointer input and relative mouse mode.
Normal desktop input
Absolute pointer input is intended for ordinary desktop applications. Your local cursor stays responsive while input is sent to the Windows session.
Relative mouse input
Some games and 3D applications request relative mouse movement. The browser may use Pointer Lock for this mode. Follow the browser’s on-screen instructions to release the pointer; Escape is commonly used.
Keyboard focus
Click inside the remote session before typing. Some shortcuts are reserved by your browser or operating system and may not reach the remote machine.
If input feels wrong
Check whether the application needs a desktop pointer or relative input. Confirm that the correct session window has focus.
